  13.   Hydra BBS is the greatest amiga scene bbs software ever!

  21.   Anywayz, on with stuff:

  23.   HBBS is NOT another AmiExpress (/X) clone, no way.
  24.  
  25.   Why anyone would want to clone /X is beyond my comprehension,
  26.   (and maybe my spelling) it's old, bugged to hell, and about as
  27.   friendly to use as a toothbrush made of sand.
  28.  
  29.   HBBS has been programmed over a three year period from the ground up
  30.   and is in NO way based on old /X source code like other BBS systems
  31.   I could mention.  (Sigma Express/Day Dream etc..)

  33.   It is fully Amiga Style Guide compliant, no SLOW mui (even though mui
  34.   is nice and offers some cool features).

  36.   If you want tech. support on it you can e-mail me. (unlike most other BBS
  37.   software where you can't get hold of the author ever!)

  39.   Anyway, there's far too many cool things about HBBS to mention in a
  40.   .readme file so just download the bloody archive now and try it out (you
  41.   can run it at the same time as /X if you want, without interfering with
  42.   /X in any way)

  44.   If (by some small chance) there is anything you don't like about HBBS then
  45.   PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE e-mail me about it and I'll change it just for you.

  47.   Please also note that NOTHING is disabled in this version of HBBS and
  48.   nothing ever will be disabled (it'd be cracked in 10 seconds flat so I'm
  49.   just not going to bother protecting it).

  51.   If you are going to Download and test HBBS i really do advise getting the
  52.   source code archive as well, even if you don't know C very well you can still
  53.   figure a hell of a lot out by looking at the source code!

  58.   HydraBBS in it's ALPHA state is FreeWare (Gosh I'm soooo nice)

  60.   It'll be shareware when it's finished but will only be about 15-25 quid
  61.   or so (UK Pounds).

  63.   You can copy it and do anything you like with it (especially improve it,
  64.   But if you do please tell me).
